Lille, 16 March 2017 - Following a record Batch #3 with 134 registered applicants, EuraTechnologies is calling all applicants for the next batch of the Start by EuraTech program. This latest promotion will be sponsored by Octave Klaba
Octave Klaba is the founder of OVH, the European cloud leader with 260,000 servers, 20 data centers, and 18 million hosted web applications. Quite the success story for someone who started out hosting data in his basement before going on to become the global reference for cloud services and data hosting. Today, OVH includes itself among a very tight circle of European unicorns (startups valued at more than €1 billion), in the company of other smash startups like Blablacar.
From concept to MVP in 80 days
Start by EuraTech is a program designed for future entrepreneurs, either solo or on a team, who have taken the initial steps to research an idea but have not yet created their company. The objective: to go from concept to MVP in 80 days. At the end of the application period, the best projects will be invited to join the 4th batch of Starters from May 2nd to July 20th. Digital, e-retail, IoT, hardware, mobile, ag-tech...whatever their project, hopeful entrepreneurs will have until April 10th to apply at the dedicated address: start.euratechnologies.com.
Euratechnologies—”The Place to Be”
Since its launch in May 2016, more than 100 projects have passed through the program via both the Euratechnologies incubator in Lille and Blanchemaille by Euratechnologies in Roubaix. While some projects will be invited to continue developing their projects in the incubator until they are market-ready, others will have the opportunity to accelerate their companies in the new 9-month-long Scale by EuraTech program, the second batch of which will begin at the same time as the 4th batch of Start by EuraTech. Christophe Piquemal, who co-founded the company Otonohm following his participation in Batch #1, and which has already has earned €300k in revenue, had the following to say: ““Euratech is known as the place to be, and I quickly discovered why this spot had earned such a reputation: it offers a wide-range of support concerning all aspects of business—not just tech. Early on, we learned the various pitfalls to avoid as a startup, primarily thanks to the many discussions that took place with other co-founders.”
